The 2025 Lincoln Navigator represents a complete redesign of Lincoln’s flagship vehicle. Built on the robust Ford F-150 platform, this luxury SUV inherits formidable capabilities, including impressive towing and hauling capacity, along with substantial cargo and passenger space. While its inherent luxury is expected, the degree of innovation introduced for 2025 may surprise you. The exterior features a bold new face, highlighted by a distinctive light bar spanning the front, a lighted badge, updated headlights and taillights, and new wheels, all while maintaining its signature large SUV proportions.
Under the hood, the Lincoln Navigator is powered by the largest engine Ford builds: a turbo six-cylinder delivering 440 horsepower, akin to what’s found in the high-end Ford Expedition. This power is complemented by a full suite of drive modes, including settings for mud, sand, and snow, enabling off-road adventures. Inside, Lincoln’s interiors draw inspiration from furniture design, aiming to create a welcoming and comfortable, at-home feel. Buyers can select from three distinct interior designs, each a full complement of textures, colors, and fabrics.
Innovation truly shines within the cabin, starting with a flat-top steering wheel featuring intuitive touchpads for various controls. Lincoln’s advanced Blue Cruise hands-free driving and other driver-assist features are readily accessible. A panoramic “pillar to pillar” screen spans the dashboard, with customizable panels. A large floating center console is adorned with a beautiful crystal-top volume controller for the multimedia system, alongside wireless charging and USB ports. Perhaps the most unique feature is “Rejuvenate Mode,” transforming the cabin into a sanctuary with calming visuals, scents, reclining and massaging seats, and a cool breeze from the HVAC system. The availability of massaging second-row captain’s chairs and heated/vented third-row seats, even in luxury cars, is nearly unheard of, underscoring the Lincoln Navigator’s premium offerings. The vehicle’s impressive driving dynamics make it feel responsive and manageable despite its size, ensuring it remains enjoyable to drive.

In the world of full size luxury SUVs the pressure is on to deliver an advanced experience that will stand up to time. Luxury cars and SUVs are expected to go the distance, after all. But they’re also expected to be timeless, with subtle changes that maintain the design and luxury of prior models.
That is an expectation that Lincoln doesn’t take lightly. For the redesign of the 2025 Lincoln Navigator, the company delivers a simple lineup and simplified interior choices paired with a tech experience that is both visceral and tactile—tech and textures.
It starts with a fixed panoramic screen assisted by a smaller touch-controlled screen, touch-sensitive controls throughout and voice-activated assistance that allows anyone in the cabin to adjust the climate, audio or navigation.
Adding to the new look and feel is a full makeover inside and out that adds to the Lincoln Navigator experience, with new interiors palettes, a new exterior lighting signature and a new split tailgate that adds to the utility of this SUV.
The panoramic screen that spans the front of the Lincoln Navigator is hard to miss, but also, not nearly as distracting as might be expected. The screen features fixed functions on the left side for the driver, but can be customized on the right side to serve driver and passenger.
