People think poverty comes from a lack of demand — I completely disagree. Demand is unlimited. Everyone wants more stuff. The real problem is supply. Countries are poor because they don’t produce enough. Wealth comes from abundance, and abundance comes from savings and production. That’s what actually lifts people out of poverty — creating more things people can afford.
