There’s no way inflation is coming down anytime soon. Warsh says fighting inflation is a choice – and he’s right. But I expect him to make the same choice Greenspan, Bernanke, Yellen, and Powell all made: choose inflation over recession. The Fed doesn’t want to contract the money supply or trigger a financial crisis, so they’ll keep kicking the can. Don’t fall for the tough talk.
