Hoda Kotb built a formidable career as a serious journalist before becoming one of America’s most recognized television personalities. As a correspondent for Dateline from 1998 to 2007, she covered some of the most significant global events of the era, including conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan and the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. She later became a fixture on NBC’s Today show, where she co-hosted its fourth hour and eventually co-anchored the flagship program until 2025.
