Pete Hegseth’s successor at Concerned Veterans for America, Mark Lucas, shared the truth about Hegseth’s departure from the non-profit despite the mainstream media’s stories claiming otherwise. 

Lucas said that the organization was able to push through major reforms for veterans thanks to Hegseth’s strategies and hard work. He also went on record defending the character and fitness of Hegseth as he fights to become confirmed as Secretary of Defense.
